Dan Gatti
Executive Director
Dan Gatti serves as Executive Director of the Law Enforcement Leadership Training Institute. Mr. Gatti serves as Adjunct Faculty at the Graduate Department of Homeland Security of San Diego State University and brings 40 years of Executive Leadership Experience as CEO of several Silicon Valley technology companies. Mr. Gatti serves as Vice Chair on the Chairmen’s Roundtable providing pro-bono mentoring services to companies in San Diego

Dr. Eric Frost, San Diego State University Co-Director Homeland Security Graduate Program Homeland Security.

Michael Owen
Security Training
Captain Mike Owen, ex U.S. Marines serves as Adjunct Faculty at San Diego State University Graduate Department of Homeland Security and is CEO of Fidelity Security Solutions, a company created out of the need for highly trained security operators and the necessity to put veterans to work. Mike is also the Executive Director of VETality Corp – a 501 (c)3 NPO dedicated to educating, training, aiding/assisting in the employment of veterans nationwide.
Dr. Mamdooh Abdelmottlep
Law Enforcement Advisor
Prof. Abdelmottlep obtained a PhD degree in Police Sciences and Law Enforcement in 1991 and a Professorate Degree in Administration of Police Sciences and Law Enforcement in 2007. He served in police positions in Egypt for 19 years and in advisory positions in the field of police, security, and law enforcement in Qatar for 7 years, the UAE for 18 years and the USA for 6 years.
Michael Svec
Law Enforcement Training
Mike Svec serves as Adjunct Faculty at San Diego State University Graduate Department of Homeland Security and has over 23 years of Military Experience and 21 years of Law Enforcement experience. Mike has extensive experience at the management level supervising and training employees.
Mike also has substantial team-building experience working in a variety of challenging environments and partnering with interagency and allied nations.
Abdiaziz Shire
Counter-Terrorism Training
Abdi Shire serves as Adjunct Faculty at San Diego State University Graduate Department of Homeland Security. Previously, served as Director of Counterterrorism and Maritime Security for the Ministry of Internal Security, Federal Government of Somalia.
Abdi is Multilingual with an exceptional interpersonal communication skill, both written and verbal (English, Somali & Basic Arabic).
Enrique Carrillo Barrios Gómez

Enrique Carrillo Barrios Gómez-serves as Adjunct Faculty at San Diego State University Graduate Department of Homeland Security. Enrique is an experienced educator with a demonstrated and fruitful record of leadership in higher education, and as an independent consultant in education. Skilled in administration and management; in the design, development and operation of public and private institutions of higher education; in the development of long-term vision and institutional accreditation; and in the development of international programs and linkages.
